Ready for Thanksgiving

I saw this centerpiece on Pinterest and decided to make it.
Dried split peas, dried kidney beans and yellow popcorn, candle and jute.
 Our Nebraska table.

This Turkey is waiting to greet Abbie and Reese from Omaha.
Our entryway niche full of pumpkins.
Our Dining room table will be seated with 14 hungry Fitzgerald's on Thanksgiving.
Pumpkins dishes are ready for the pie and coffee.
The Welcoming pumpkin I made last year and
I put drywall compound on the board to build up the ridges and make it 3-D.
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!

Fall in McKinney!

Theresa, our daughter-in-law, gave these mums to us
when Maggie, our dog passed away several years ago.
They are planted in front of our house.
I love the color and the shape of these mums.
I think they are called spider mums. They look like daisies.
I  hope they continue to bloom so I can use them for my Thanksgiving centerpiece.
Wouldn't you know when I went out to take a picture of the trees
in our neighborhood the sun went under the clouds.
Another tree in the neighborhood.
The course was full of color today while I played golf.  I love fall.
